The owner of this Moody 346 wanted a new chart plotter at the helm, the stainless tube ahead of the wheel was too low for a pod. So rather than go to the expense of extending the tube a stainless bracket was fabricated and bolted to the tube. This has the added advantage, with the Garmin Echomap, that the plotter can be unclipped from the rear shell for security, leaving the cables in place.
